How Do I change aspect ratio on the DStv HD Decoder?
You can do this in 1 of 3 Ways
Default: You can set the default in DStv Central
Press the blue DStv button on your remote
Scroll to Settings
Select User Preferences
Then select Video & Audio
Change the Aspect Ratio as required and press BACK to exit and save your settings
Change the Aspect Ratio settings on the fly
While watching TV, press the ARC button on your remote. When you press it the first time, it will display the current Aspect Ratio setting.
Each time you press it thereafter, it will change the Aspect Ratio setting (there are 5 options to cycle through)
This setting is only temporary and does not override the default setting
Change the Aspect Ratio from the OPTIONS display
When watching TV, press the OPTIONS button and change the Aspect Ratio option using the LEFT or RIGHT arrow. Press BACK to exit and save your settings
